There’s Nothing FowL about Detroit Artist FowL…

This 20 year old Detroit Native was crowned last year by Chart topping rap artist Eminem as the best freestyler in the County when he won the Red Bull EmCee Competition. FowL (aka Saffal Tariff) started rapping at the age of 8, and was given his stage name by his father.  According to FowL,  his dad thought his original stage name he had was just terrible!

His latest mixtape Good Vibes which was released this spring has been getting love from people all over–He’s even been received in Ireland. Adam Cambridge who is huge fan of the kid is from Cork, Ireland and stated in an interview with Ann Arbor.com The thing that is unique about FowL to me is his rawness and realness. For rappers or musical artists as a whole to influence internationally, they need to have that passion that every human can relate to.

I know that Ireland is definitely not a where hip-hop is hugely popular so they really must feeling the passion that FowL has an artist which is giving him huge international support which is very important for an artist; especially an up and coming one.

In March FowL headlined a show in his hometown with One Be Low, and since then he has opened for artists like Wiz Khalifa, Wale, Chip Tha Ripper, and Raekwon. The young artist plans to change the rap game by really connecting with the people through his music. He wants to let the people out there know his trials and tribulations that he’s going through, and at the same time plans to have fun and grow with his audience. FowL also hopes that along the way that his music can help people as  they are going though their own struggle.

FowL has a wealth of talent in my opinion, and I can’t wait for his next mixtape Coming out of No Where drops.  Definitely check back here for it!  Let us know what you think of FowL! Go to fowl style.com and check out more of his music.
