Shawn Chrystopher: Bringing his own style to the Hip Hop Game

You know what Dr. Dre says about Inglewood Always up to no good, but what is good about Inglewood is all the ill rap and hip hop artist to have come out of that city, and Inglewood Shawn Chrystopher is absolutely one of them. For the last couple years he has been making his own mark in the indie scene. Beats that seems more reserved for alternative artist is what Shawn infuses with his witty lyricism that creates a unique blend that has sent him apart from the rest.

His single Bang off his new album You and only You , is definitely full proof that Shawn is versatile and unique. Some say he has a little BOB and Kid Cudi vibe, but what makes him is that every song is different from the next one, and they will totally have you bobbing your head.

Shawn has been talented since a little boy.  He skipped kindergarten and went straight to the second grade, and when he graduated from High School at just 16 he was awarded a full academic scholarship to attend USC.  In grade school he had perfected his ability to play over five instruments, and that resulted in him learning how to produce his own music.

Since 2009 Shawn has released A city with no seasons, his debut album via his own website which has been called the most artistic project of the year by HipHopofficial.com, and his follow up The Audition EP which had over 35,000 downloads in its first week of release. He has also been features on 106 and Park , and also been sought after by top selling artist  to work on collaborations.  Recently Chrystopher was featured on recording artist Owl City lead off single Alligator Sky ( a chart top selling single) which was released in June of this year.
