Raised in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, MA, Moufy is the rapper to watch coming out of New England. At the tender age of 20 artist Moufy if you can believe has had the most downloads of a mixtape from an unsigned artist from the City of Boston, and has the most fans on Facebook of any other rapper in his city.
The accolades don’t stop here. The kid has also sold out a 250 person venue in Boston; had articles written about him in the Boston Herald, Boston Phoenix, BarstoolSports.com, ThisSongIsSick.com, GoodMusicAllday.com, FreshNewTracks.com and BroBible.com; and he has shared the stage with the likes of KRS-One, Machine Gun Kelly and Hoodie Allen.
Here is what some of the publications had to say about the Boston rapper:
“He could become a big deal real quick” (GoodMusicAllDay.com),
“He’s got a real unique flow and a voice unlike any rapper I’ve ever heard” (ThisSongIsSick.com),
“He’s the next big artist coming out of Boston” (DirtyMexicanLemonade.com),
“One of the dopest unsigned artists in the game” (StagsFlow.com)
Don’t just take their word about this guy.  Check out these videos.

Moufy was born in the Domican Republic to a teen-aged mother, and  his father pretty much drifted in and of both their lives. What has shaped him into the person he is now and what has helped him bridge the gap between suburban and urban America is growing up in Roxbury, MA and the different experiences he had while living there and attending private school.
In an interview with XXL Magazine where he was featured as a Hip-Hop artist in The Break section of the magazine, talked about some of his memorable moments so far as an artist and stated
Become a member of Star Gang by liking the facebook page, spreading the word and helping Moufy make it to the top! My standout records and/or moments have been: Being the main Boston artist at the Boston Urban Music Festival in front of 50k people, getting my song Boston Lights played at a Patriots game, doing a song with David Ortiz and selling out a 600 person venue in Boston. That’s damn impressive in my opinion. I’m definitely digging Boston Lights. He truly reps his city, and you can feel his love/hate for the city in his lyrics and I’m always a big fan of anyone repping the city in which their from. Moufy is paying respect on this one!
His plan to is to change the game of Hip-hop by breaking down the barrier between Urban and Suburban America through his music. Moufy would like to work with artist like Jay-Z, Eminem, Fabolous, Jadakiss, 50 Cent, and Kanye West in the future.
This kid can flow and I’m really feeling the meaning behind his work and he my stamp approval, and I’m hoping you’re feeling him like I am. Become a member of Star Gang(His crew) by liking the Facebook page, spreading the word and helping Moufy make it to the top!
