I don’t know if everyone was excited as I was when I heard that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting a baby. Congrats goes out to HOV and B! She made the announcement tonight on the red carpet at MTV’s Video Music Awards. It will be the first child for the couple, confirming Beyonce’s pledge to get pregnant by the time she was 30. She will hit the big 3-0 Next Sunday.
So I guess now those crazy rumors about Vasheti Kola (party planner and music director)trying to steal Jay away can be laid down to rest. The party planner, Vashtei Kola, reportedly has had some business dealings with Jay-Z and told friends she was trying to lure away the music mogul.
Even before Beyonce’s blockbuster announcement Sunday, that was not likely, said a veteran Beyonce-Jay-Z source. But he notes, Kola is relentless and very aggressive. She’s dated a bunch of music celebrities, including Pharrell, Q-Tip and Common.
