Lil Wayne Speaks on “Watch The Throne” & Niki Minaj

SO I was reading today on mtv.com that Lil Wayne has not heard and pretty much doesn’t even plan or listening to Jay Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album Watch The Throne. In an interview Weezy stated I haven’t heard the album. I’ll probably never hear the album. I wasn’t too surprised about this, but what I was surprised about was what the New Orleans rapper had to say about his protege Niki Minaj.

Lil Wayne was quotes this about the Young Money rapper. I’m not satisfied with anything she’s done, Wayne said of the Pink Friday rapper. I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more. It’s not shocking, and it’s not surprising. It’s quite fitting. But other than that, it’s nowhere near the end. Tough love I guess?

Despite the negative remarks he dished out on Nikki it seems that Lil Wayne is still dedicated to his entire Young Money Team.  I was watching a video of him when he was on the set of Birdman’s Y.U. Mad video and instead of talking to MTV about his upcoming work he was more interested in talking about the projects that his Young Money Crew had going on. “We got Twist coming, we got Tyga coming, and then we have Shanell coming, then we got Bow Wow ” that’s what’s really important, Wayne said. What I’m doing is really never important, actually. I’m a very unimportant guy. It’s just me.”

Do you think Weezy has never heard Watch the Throne, and what do you think about what he said about Niki Minaj? Do you agree?
