Nicki Minaj Got Slapped! Or Did She?

On Tuesday TMZ broke news that Nicki Minaj got into an altercation with her boyfriend or assistant, Safaree Samuel at the Palomar Hotel in Dallas Texas while on tour with Brittney Spears.  Starting out as a verbal dispute, the altercation moved to their hotel room, which they were sharing, and soon after 911 was called and Nicki explained that she was hit in her lip.  Although she was adamant about have NO Charges pressed and she would not claim she was in a relationship with the man, the fact still remains she asked the police to show up and filed a report.

TMZ has learned Minaj was hanging out at the pool at the fancy Palomar Hotel when she got into a very intense verbal spat with an unidentified man she was staying with.

Nicki told a hotel employee to call police while the man went to their hotel room. Nicki followed soon after.

When cops and paramedics arrived, Nicki told authorities their poolside fight continued inside of their room

The police report describing the altercation between Nicki Minaj and her assistant, in which she claimed he struck her in the face with a suitcase.

According to the police report, Nicki followed Samuels up to the room they were sharing, to make sure he didn’t take any of her stuff. Nicki was looking into her suitcase in the room, which had some of Samuels belongings, when she says he grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved the suitcase across [Nicki’s] chin and lower lip.

Later this week Safaree (@scaffbeezy) responded to the rumors via Twitter, stating, “The General Public are Stupid MuthaF*ckas, Ya’ll D*cks will believe anything…”. Nice way of clearing your innocents. Nicki as well tweeted to try and clear up rumors tweeting,

“The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife.

The media could pee on ur leg & tell u its raining. You’d believe it. You’d believe u were an adopted martian if TMZ told u so. #stopit

So the secret still remains, did the altercation really happen? Is Nicki covering up like a really domestic violence victim? Or did a powerful media outlet bend the truth a little? If it happens again, I bet we’ll know…
